Refurbishment and renovation of Shepherd Hall Restaurant, including the servery area, entrance corridor, back of house areas and services work in the basement – carried out in only 10 weeks, and 12 weeks for the servery area.
DINING HALL and CORRIDOR
Formation of new structural openings.
Renovation of joinery, timber panelling, wood block flooring and mosaic flooring in the corridor.
Refurbishment and renovation of windows and feature external doors, the latter removed from site for renovation, for which temporary waterproof screens were erected.
New floating suspended ceiling panels with special lighting.
M & E services upgraded and extended.
SERVERY
Complete strip out and replacement of all catering equipment & servery furniture to a re-modelled layout.
Modified services, new air con & new extract canopy.
New tiling, suspended ceilings, roller shutters & decorations.
BACK OF HOUSE AREAS
Alterations, upgrading and refurbishment of office and staff changing areas.
BASEMENT
Installation of a replacement air handling unit, extract plant and ductworks in a confined space with awkward access.
