This project comprised the full refurbishment of 75 bedrooms within an occupied building, which required careful planning and phasing to enable the ongoing function of the facility.

The works included refurbishment and re-modelling of ensuites, circulation areas, sitting rooms and lounges, server and dining areas, commercial laundry, staff changing rooms, assisted bathrooms, sluice, and sundry external areas including lighting and ancillary areas.

The replacement of external windows (both pvc and fire rated) and doors throughout, small spot item modifications to external car park, external lighting, entrance canopy and bin store, roof terrace repairs and the formation of access ramps and DDA compliant bedrooms within the occupied building.

The MEP works included working on the mechanical plant and ventilation ductwork, fire alarm and nurse call upgrades.
