Major refurbishment project for the world famous West Kensington Club

Cuffe were Principle Contractor on this major refurbishment project for the world famous West Kensington Club.
The project consisted of internal demolitions, major structural alterations, refurbishment and high quality fitting out works to The Rackets Building and adjacent areas. Externally, a new link building was constructed and brick facades were restored.

The areas involved were:
Enlargement and complete refurbishment of the Ladies Dressing Room.
Enabling works, services diversions, demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new Link Building connecting the Rackets Court Building with the Main Pavilion.
Creating and fitting out of a new Terrace Room.
Refurbishment of the Terrace overlooking Centre Court.
Creating additional and improved rackets courts viewing facilities including temporary and permanent structural support works.
Structural alterations and installation of a new spiral staircase for better circulation.
Refurbishment of ancillary areas.
Major mechanical and electrical installations to upgrade the services to the refurbished areas.
Refurbishment of the rooflights over the courts.
