The 3rd floor flat roof extension comprised of a lightweight steel portal frame, timber joists and plywood deck floor with glazed and bronze façade. The temporary roof was supported by weighted back props through 1st floor windows.

Refurbishment of the Garner Building included:
Internal fit out of 3rd floor to provide corridor and 3x classrooms
Refurbishment and structural works to the 2nd floor to provide 2x science labs
Structural strengthening works to support the roof extension
New floor, wall and ceiling finishes and new services throughout
Double glazing to existing windows, façade cleaning and repairs
Creating access at 3rd floor level to the adjacent buildings

Works to the Science Block labs including replacement of existing fume cupboard ductwork and associated fans and outlet works to the flat roof.

Reconfiguration and fit out of the 3rd floor Science Block science lab.
