Charing Cross Hospital Teaching Rooms

Strip out and refurbishment of levels 7 & 11 of the Charing Cross Lab Block

£1.6m

The project comprised the strip out and refurbishment of levels 7 & 11 (part) of the Charing Cross Lab Block to create a new teaching facility for the Faculty of Medicine. Works included full M&E services, new partitions, suspended ceilings, flooring and decorations. Some structural works including support required for two new moveable walls.

In addition, a comprehensive AV package was included and fully co-ordinated into the scheme.

Works also included kitchen, IT hub room and full refurbishment of existing WC facilities. The project was undertaken on an NEC contract design and build basis.
