Charing Cross Hospital ED Expansion
Works comprised the Emergency Department Expansion / Refurbishment and Power Infrastructure Upgrade, including A&E.
Works in the Pilot Wing required some extent of decant works.
The works in the North Building / New North Building can be described as significant as the works were undertaken around an active A&E department, and the continuity of services was paramount.
Works were carried out in phases; Phase 1-3 were critical to ensure that the smooth implementation of the major works in Phases 4-6 could proceed.
