Conversion of Former Solicitors Offices into Two Flats in London

The work involved the conversion of a former Solicitor’s Offices spread over two floors into two new self-contained flats, including the associated mechanical and electrical works.
Communication and careful scheduling were key when timing deliveries to this corner location. Not only is the building on a crossroads, the ground floor is occupied by a branch of Barclays Bank. Close co-ordination and communication with the bank, with carefully planned access where necessary.

The works comprised:
Conversion of the 1st and 2nd floors, over an existing ground floor occupied by a bank
Upgrading the existing first floor fire separation, some structural alteration works and the removal of chimney breasts
New windows and external doors, all new incoming services
New fire escape and renewal of the existing one
Engineered timber floors, built in wardrobes and new bathrooms and kitchens were completed to a high standard
